When we experience a challenge, disturbance or distressing situation what’s needed is a pause.

Not to attempt to try to figure out what is wrong and how to feel better. This activity only blocks our potential to see our way forward with clarity.

What’s needed is to slow down.

To drop out of habitual thinking and rest into the heart.

As with most inner shifts there’s a subtle skill to pausing.
